Jul 29, 2023(July 27) Former Little Rock Second Baptist Pastor Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 17-Year-Old | Little Rock, AR
A sexual assault lawsuit has been filed against a former Little Rock pastor.
Ivan Lambert, formally of Second Baptist Church located on Barrow Road, allegedly sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl. According to the lawsuit, the accusations began in 2016 and continued until 2021.
The plaintiff is being identified as Jane Doe because the plaintiff was “a minor when the sexual abuse described herein began. To disclose her name publicly would potentially subject her to further harm.”

(July 26) Jehovah's Witness Member First To Plead Guilty To Sexually Assaulting Kids In Berks Co | PA
Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that the first of more than a dozen men from Jehovah's Witness charged with child sexual assault crimes has pleaded guilty.
52-year-old Jesse Hill is now a resident of Georgia, but lived in Berks County in the 1990s when he met two minors through the Jehovah's Witness community.

(July 24) Retired Priest In Diocese Of Richmond Accused Of Sex Abuse Against A Minor | VA
The Diocese of Richmond, Virginia, says it has received allegations of child sexual abuse against a retired priest, with law enforcement investigating the claims as the priest remains removed from public ministries.
The Richmond Diocese — the larger of the two in the state in front of the Diocese of Arlington — said in a July 1 press release that it had “received a recent report of alleged child sexual abuse against Father Walter Lewis.”
