A new report has emerged regarding the alleged sexual abuse at Vineyard Church in Duluth.
Northern News Now obtained a 95-page report from the group GRACE (Godly Response to Abuse in the Christian Environment), which investigates sex crimes in churches, for churches.
GRACE was hired by Vineyard Duluth after the church learned of allegations against Pastoral Assistant Jackson Gatlin, the son of now-former Senior Pastor Michael Gatlin.

(November21) Lawsuit Filed Against Santa Fe Public Schools, Archdiocese Of Santa Fe | Santa Fe, N.M.
An “epidemic” of child abuse in Santa Fe institutions. That is what one attorney said is happening in a new lawsuit against several institutions, including Santa Fe Public Schools and the Roman Catholic Church of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. The lawsuit claims the institutions failed to protect children from predator Robert Apodaca.
“This lawsuit is about changing cultures,” said Paul Linnenburger, attorney for the plaintiff. He said it’s a culture that has enabled children in Santa Fe to be subject to ongoing abuse. “Unfortunately, as we have learned, there’s somewhat of an epidemic of child sex abuse in our public institutions in northern New Mexico,” said Linnenburger.

(November 20) Jury Acquits Catholic Priest In Tennessee Who Was Charged With Sexual Battery | Sevierville, Tenn.
A jury has found a Catholic priest in Tennessee not guilty of sexual battery against a woman who was a church member.
Jurors handed down the verdict late last week in the case against Father Antony Punnackal, who was suspended from his role as pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Gatlinburg after being indicted in January 2022 on two counts of sexual battery.

Victims allege a systemic issue, citing ‘rampant’ abuse and ‘extremely high rates of incest’ within Mormon households.
