(April 6) Man Wanted For Stealing Items From Memphis Church | Memphis, TN

Memphis Police are looking for a man they say broke into a church in Parkway Village and stole numerous items.


According to MPD, on March 27, officers responded to a business burglary at Perfecting Love Community Church in the 3100 block of Old Getwell Road.

(April 5) Thefts In Rock Creek Area Reported | Prosper, TX

Several thefts in the Rock Creek community and nearby were reported recently to the Wilkes Sheriff’s Office, including at Rock Creek Baptist Church on Rock Creek Church.

It was reported on April 2 that an ear microphone, electric acoustic guitar and six corded microphones worth $2,400 were taken from the church in a break-in,

The theft of Freon and attempted theft of copper pipe from an air conditioner at the Rock Creek Run-In convenience store on N.C. 268 East was reported on March 28. The pipe wasn’t taken but must be replaced due to the extent of damage, reported Deputy Jeremy Cardwell. The pipe and Freon were a $2,000 loss.

(April 4) Identity Sought For Person Of Interest In Catalytic Converter Theft At SouthPoint Church | Leonardtown, MD

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the identity of the woman pictured, a person of interest, in a theft investigation.

On Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 2:35 am, a catalytic converter was stolen from a parked vehicle at the SouthPoint Church on St. Andrew’s Church Road in Leonardtown. The pictured female was in the general area at the time of the theft and may have additional information.

(April 4) Preacher Arrested, Accused Of Stealing $100k From His Day Job | Baton Rouge

An East Baton Rouge Parish preacher is on the wrong side of the word that he teaches on Sundays.

Bishop Joshua Lamb was arrested last month, accused of stealing more than $100,000 from his day job at the Comfort Suites off Bluebonnet Boulevard. Arrest documents show the vice president of operations at the hotel contacted East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff's deputies after it was discovered that Lamb was issuing himself reimbursements through the payroll system. The VP told investigators that reimbursements are only done through paper checks.

(April 1) Church Robbery Suspect Found Using K-9, Drone In Richland | Richland, WA

A robbery suspect was arrested this morning with the help of a K-9 and a drone, according to the Richland Police Department.

According to a Facebook post by RPD, officers responded to a report of a break-in at a church in the 500 block of Thayer Road at about 7 a.m.

RPD said a church member had found the suspect in the basement after the suspect used a broken window to break in.

Officials said that while the church member was calling 911, the suspect fled and was seen by an RPD officer nearby when the call came in.
