(October 13) Greenville Man Charged With Break-In And Theft At Local Church | Winterville, NC

A Greenville man is facing charges after breaking into a place of worship.

It all happened on Sept. 28 around 1:00 p.m. when the Pitt County Sheriff's office responded to a call of a breaking and entering.

Deputies arrived on scene to Vision Caster Ministries located off of Old Tar Road in Winterville. It was deemed that items of value were stolen from the church.

The initial investigation led to a person of interest for the crime.

(October 12) 39-Year-Old Man With No Permanent Address Has Been Accused Of Breaking Into A Church In La Crosse | WI

Kieng T. Yang was charged in La Crosse County Circuit with a felony count of burglary and misdemeanor counts of theft and bail jumping.

According to the criminal complaint, Yang stole a sign from a residential front porch on Charles Street before entering the church through a stained glass window. The church is located next door to the residence on Sill Street.

The complaint says Yang, who police recognized from previous contacts, was found naked inside the church. He reportedly told police he entered the church to take a shower. Police were unable find discarded clothing belonging to Yang.

(October 11) WCSOW Seeking To Identify Suspects After Theft From Church | Watauga, TX

The Watauga County Sheriff's Office is seeking to identify those responsible for allegedly stealing from a local church.

Between 5 p.m. on Oct. 6 and 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 8, someone allegedly broke into the Unity Baptist Church in the area of Mabel School Road, according to a release from High Country Crime Stoppers. During the break-in, the unknown person/persons stole a Kobalt toolbox with Kobalt tools inside and also broke into the storage shed and stole a Greenworks Pro riding lawn mower, according to the release.

(October 11) Suspects Wanted In Armed Carjacking Outside Clarksdale, MS Church | Clarksdale, MS

Police in Clarksdale, Mississippi are looking for suspects after a person was carjacked while they were leaving church on Tuesday.

Police say the victim said they were leaving the New Jerusalem Church when they were approached by three armed men. The suspects reportedly demanded money, cell phones, and the keys to their vehicle.

(October 11) Arrest Made In Burglary Of Rensselaer Church | Rensselaer, NY

A 41-year-old man was arrested Wednesday, accused of burglarizing St. John the Evangelist and St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in June and stealing money from a donations box for the poor and a prayer candle box, city police said.

The man was arrested at the Albany County Correctional Facility and was arraigned in Rensselaer City Court before Judge Linda Blom Johnson on charges of burglary, criminal mischief and petit larceny. He was sent to the county jail.
