(March 16) Burglars Steal Music System From Nairobi Church | KENYA

Police in Nairobi have launched a manhunt for burglars who at the weekend broke into a church in Mlango Kubwa and stole a music system including a piano.

According to a police report filed at Pangani Police Station in Starehe Sub-County, the burglary happened at Apostolic Great Commission Church.

(March 16) Two Suspects Sought In Theft From Central Elgin Church | UK

Police have turned to the public for help identifying two people who repeatedly broke into a church in Central Elgin, making off with items valued at $1,500.

Over the course of two weeks, Elgin OPP say a pair entered the Free Reformed Church at 145 St George St. on three separate occasions.

(March 15) 'Act Of Wanton Vandalism' At Church Of Ireland In Muff | IRELAND

A Donegal County Councillor has told of his disappointment at an ‘act of wanton vandalism’ on the grounds of the Church of Ireland in Muff.

Councillor Terry Crossan has confirmed that a ‘number of coping stones were dislodged’ from the perimeter wall and ‘strewn about the grass causing significant damage and destabilising this very old wall’.

(March 15) Man Arrested For Stealing Statue From Gloria Church In Mumbai's Byculla | INDIA

Police on Wednesday arrested the culprit who alleged stole an old statue of St Anthony from Gloria Church in Mumbai’s Byculla on February 21.
The culprit reportedly dumped the idol in the sea after failing to trade it for cash.

However, senior police inspector Ashok Khot declined to disclose the identity of the thief or share details of the arrest or his present whereabouts. "There is nothing to write," he said.

(March 14) Spain Collects 445 Church Sex Abuse Complaints | Spain

Spanish government was forced to investigate after allegations of sex abuse involving more than 1,200 victims were published.

Spain’s ombudsman said Monday that an independent commission set up a year ago to investigate historic sex abuse by the Catholic church has collected testimonies from 445 victims, as the nation tackles an issue other European countries acted on long ago.
