(January 27) Man Found With Gunshot Wounds Near Gulfport Church | Gulfport, MS

GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - Police are investigating a scene near a Gulfport church where one person was found shot. The man was found near Grace Temple Baptist church with two gunshot wounds. Gulfport Police say he is still alive.

Police and medical assistance are on the scene, and the crime scene unit is on the way.

Police say the investigation is multi-jurisdictional, involving other agencies beyond the Coast. Details are limited at this time, but we will update with more information as we receive it.

(January 26) Auburn Woman Hospitalized After Overnight Shooting | Auburn, WA

AUBURN, Wash. — A woman is recovering in the hospital after police said she was shot near an Auburn church late Wednesday night. Officers found a woman with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was treated and taken to Harborview Medical Center, police said.

Investigators do not have any suspects in the shooting or any information on what led up to the shooting.

(January 26) Man Charged In Connection With Deadly Shooting Outside Former Jennings Church | St. Louis, Mo 

ST. LOUIS — Months after a fatal shooting outside of a former church in Jennings, a St. Louis man was arrested in connection to the incident. On April 16, police responded to the 6300 block of Lillian Avenue at about 4:45 p.m., where they found a man and a woman who had been shot inside a car that was parked in the street in front of a former church, just north of Interstate 70 between Goodfellow Boulevard and Jennings Station Road.

The woman, who was in the passenger seat, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to her left leg. The man in the driver's seat of the car, 25-year-old Myron Davis of St. Louis, had been shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.

(January 26) Placentia Church Van Crash: Girl Killed, DUI Suspect Arrested | Placentia, CA

A Santa Ana man was arrested following a two-vehicle crash that killed three people, including a 10-year-old girl, in Placentia Wednesday night. Eight people were also injured in the crash. The driver of a Honda Civic allegedly ran a red light and crashed into a church van. Several of the van's passengers were ejected.
