(January 31) Church Vandal Caught On Camera In Queens | New York, NY

A man who hurled an object at a church in Queens on Sunday is being sought by police. While the Eagles and 49ers were hurling footballs in the NFC championship game, at around 3:56 pm, this suspect was hurling objects at the front door of the Grace Lutheran Church on Union Turnpike.

A video released by the NYPD shows the man throwing a rock at the front door before walking up the steps to get closer to the door, then fleeing.

Police have classified the incident as a hate crime.

Police are searching for the man who damaged the glass front door of the Grace Lutheran Church on Sunday, the second time since 2021.

Police are searching for the man who damaged the glass front door of the Grace Lutheran Church, located at 103-15 Union Turnpike, about 4 p.m. on Jan. 29 by throwing a rock, the NYPD said.

(January 31) Kenosha Fire: St. Elizabeth Office Building Uninhabitable | Kenosha, WI

Fire tore through the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church offices in Kenosha on Tuesday morning, Jan. 31. A construction crew that was remodeling the building near 7th Avenue and 48th Street reported the fire around 8:20 a.m.

Upon arrival, fire crews found heavy smoke coming from the back side of the office building.

"You couldn’t tell where the fire was coming from," said Jason Matzur, who lives across the street from the church. "It was just one big wall of smoke here."

(January 31) Man Sentenced In Arson That Damaged Brooklyn Park Salvation Army | Brooklyn Park, MN

A man has been sentenced for setting a Salvation Army in Brooklyn Park on fire last year, destroying winter coats meant for those in need.

Jack Douglas Heinrich, 33, was charged in November with arson, burglary, and damage to property after security video showed him piling a chair and coats onto a pew in the chapel before setting them on fire. Heinrich pleaded guilty to second-degree arson, but pleaded not guilty to the other charges.

(January 27) Topless Woman Destroys Statue In Church | Fargo, ND

Police in North Dakota say a topless woman broke into a Catholic church on Tuesday and destroyed a large statue of Jesus on the wall.

When Police responded to the church they saw a woman running across the street but were still able to detain her. The woman was topless and had no shoes on.
