(November 10) Three Arrests Made In Connection To Shooting At Vestavia Hills Church Basketball Court

The Vestavia Hills Police Department announced three arrests in connection to a shooting at Shades Mountain Baptist Church on Sunday afternoon. Timothy Earl Wynn III, 18, is charged with first-degree assault and two counts of first-degree robbery. Lameka Roshundra Cook, 49, and David Jarrell Coleman, 24, were both charged with second-degree assault and two counts of first-degree robbery.

(November 10) 2 Suspects In Madisonville UTV Thefts Identified, 1 In Custody

MADISONVILLE, Texas (KBTX) - Two men were arrested in connection to the theft of five Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTV), a church van, trailers and other items, according to the Madisonville Police Department. The theft of the UTVs happened in the early morning hours on Oct. 24 at a Kawasaki Dealership located on South May Street. Police obtained surveillance video from the dealership and learned two suspects were involved.

(November 09) Arson Suspect Arrested In Spate Of Fires In Mississippi, Including Two Churches

Police in Mississippi’s capital have arrested a 23-year-old man accused of setting fire to at least six buildings – including two churches – on Tuesday near the campus of Jackson State University, a historically Black college. Though the fires were set on the same day as the midterm elections, the assistant chief of the Jackson fire department told media outlets that investigators had no immediate reason to believe the blazes were politically motivated.

(November 09) Heavy Church Bell Stolen From Minnesota Cemetery Chapel

A church bell weighing around 1,000 lbs. has been stolen from a southern Minnesota cemetery chapel. The bell has been reported missing from the Swan Lake Cemetery chapel in Dassel, Minn. since Oct. 15, according to Meeker County Chief Deputy Becky Howell. Howell told Bring Me The News they don't have any leads as of Tuesday. "It's really disappointing someone would do something like that," she said.

(November 09) Suspects Wanted For Stealing Mail From Bossier Church

The Bossier City Police Department Property Crimes Division requests the assistance of the public. Two subjects were captured on surveillance stealing mail from a local church located at 2225 Airline Drive in Bossier City. On November 5th 2022 around 3:00 in the morning a white female subject wearing a dark colored Nike shirt, tights, and slippers was captured on surveillance stealing mail from a mailbox located near the front entrance of the Freedom Church. Suspect was captured on surveillance leaving the area with a unknown suspect riding a white and black mountain type bicycle.

(November 08) Whitehaven Church Struck Twice By Burglar

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police are searching for a man who broke into a Whitehaven church more than once, according to surveillance video. Deacon Morris Brown still can’t believe it when he watches surveillance video of a man breaking into the Zarephath Christian Church in Whitehaven. “What type of person? I mean, it’s bad enough to break into an individual’s house. But then to do it to God, no. That’s something I can’t comprehend,” Deacon Brown said.

(November 05) Person Dead In Indianapolis Shooting At Church On Saturday

 A man was shot to death in the parking lot of an Indianapolis church that was the site of a funeral Saturday afternoon. Police are investigating the incident, which took place at Oasis of Hope Baptist Church, 1701 E. 25th St. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at about 12:30 p.m., Public Information Officer William Young said. They found a man with gunshot wounds, and emergency medical responders pronounced him deceased at the scene. A disturbance occurred prior to shots being fired, Young said.

(November 05) Dover Woman Facing Theft Charge, Accused Of Stealing Nearly $200K From Strasburg Church

NEW PHILADELPHIA ‒ A Dover woman is accused of stealing $196,422 from St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg. The aggravated theft charge against former church employee Jodi A. Davis, 57, is outlined in a bill of information filed in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court. A bill of information skips the grand jury process and usually signals a defendant is cooperating with the prosecution.

(November 04) KPD Searching For Three People For Stealing Decorations, Statues And Chairs From A Church

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department said they were searching for three people after they were seen stealing decorations, statues and chairs from a church early Thursday morning. Police said the three people were seen at Sacred Heart Cathedral between 1:55 a.m. and 2:55 a.m. stealing the items. They said the people also destroyed some decorations and equipment. According to authorities, they were driving a red or maroon SUV.
