(September 28) Three Women Seen On Video Breaking Into Corpus Christi Church, Stealing Several Items

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are looking for three women that were caught on video breaking into a Corpus Christi church. The crime happened on Sunday, Sept. 25 on the 4300 block of McArdle Rd. The victim told police he went to the church, which doubles as a home, around 2:30 p.m. and found the front door unsecured.

(September 28) Pastor Says Vandalism At Connecticut Church Is A ‘Cry For Help’

MERIDEN, Connecticut (WFSB) — A pastor with the First Congregational Church says someone spray painted words on their front steps over the weekend. Police are looking for a suspect, but the pastor is not looking to press charges. “I felt angry and then when I saw and read what they wrote, I thought this person was in need and they are crying out for help,” says Pastor Clarence Hayes.

(September 27) Security Guard Killed In Church Parking Lot

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police say a security guard has been killed while on the job at a Calvary Church on Osuna over Friday night. Former colleagues told KOB 4 he was beloved and had a long career of serving the state and nation. Calvary Church leaders and a former employer have confirmed Daniel Bourne was killed in the church parking lot Friday night

(September 27) Rochester Church Victimized By Catalytic Converter Theft

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police are investigating a catalytic converter theft that has victimized a downtown Rochester church.  A police spokesman says the Christ United Methodist Church reported the car part was stolen off of a van sometime between September 18 and September 25.

(September 26) Death Penalty Sought For Suspect In Deadly Vestavia Hills Church Shooting

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — The state of Alabama is seeking the death penalty for the man charged with killing three people inside a Vestavia Hills church in June. In a court appearance Monday, Robert Findlay Smith pled not guilty to the charges of capital murder in the deaths of Jane Pounds, Walter Rainey and Sarah Yeager on June 16.

(September 25) Police Investigating Homicide In Baden Neighborhood 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) - Police are investigating a homicide that happened in the Baden neighborhood of North City Saturday night. Police say the incident happened in the 8500 block of Church around 9:30 p.m. Officers found 33-year-old Ryan Thompson in an alley. Thompson suffered an injury to his head from an unknown object and was not conscious or breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

(September 25) Deputies Ask For Public’s Help To Find Vehicle Involved In Lincoln County Trailer Theft

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying a vehicle that was used to steal a construction trailer from a church. The theft of a trailer that belongs to Cathey Roofing Company occurred either on Sept. 12 or the early morning hours of Sept. 13 at Riverview Baptist Church on Riverview Road in Lincolnton.

(September 24) 1 Dead, 2 Others Injured In Shooting Near Indianapolis Church

INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating a deadly shooting near a north side church by East 29th Street and North College Avenue shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday. Walter F. Goodloe, 61, was killed, according to the Marion County Coroner's Office. Two other men were wounded.

(September 24) Modesto Police Investigating A Possible Death In A Car On Maze Boulevard

Modesto police officers responded to a scene in the 1200 block of Maze Boulevard following a report Saturday afternoon of a possible deceased person in a car, police said. Police are on scene near St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for a possible death investigation. Authorities have taped off the area around a Black Honda sedan, and the Modesto Police Crime Scene Unit is on hand.

(September 23) ‘We Want Our Heirlooms Back’: Church Appeals For Return Of Stolen Items After Two Robberies In Three Months

Members of a north-central Alberta church are appealing for the return of several stolen items after the building was robbed for a second time within three months. Mounties say they believe a group of suspects broke into St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Greek Orthodox Church and Cemetery, about seven kilometres north of Onoway, sometime in the last four weeks.

(September 23) Pastor And More Than 80 Others Kidnapped In Attacks On Two Nigerian Churches

Armed men kidnapped more than 80 Christians last week in attacks on two separate churches in north-central and northwest Nigeria, reported Morning Star News. On Sept. 17, militants raided the Cherubim and Seraphim Church in Suleja in Niger state and abducted dozens of worshippers gathered together for an all-night vigil, according to the report.
